Artisan Kitchen Design was created as a natural extension to McKay Construction Company. AKD embodies many of the same principles that have and continue to serve McKay Construction. The McKay Construction Company was established in 1933. Since then, we have become one of the most well known and trusted residential building companies on the South Shore of Massachusetts.

A long standing resident of Norwell, Owner John D. McKay is familiar not only with the area, but with its residents. Most of the projects undertaken have been solicited by the homeowners themselves due to our reputation and reliability.
